Why you need VPS

Virtual Private Server (VPS)

A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is the optimal solution for those professionals and enterprises that find shared hosting does not suit their business needs.
A VPS is also far more affordable than having a dedicated server.

Shared hosting does not guarantee system performance.
Even if you have a small and well-performing website, you could be sharing the same server with trafficked sites which can create issues.
Unfortunately, shared hosting increases the likelihood to be more exposed to security problems, as the security of the entire server is also partly determined by the individual sites hosted.

A dedicated server is not only expensive but also requires a professional (senior level/highly skilled) who takes care of a series of non-trivial tasks including hardware problems, connectivity issues, remote maintenance / updating difficulties.

However, a VPS eliminates the defects of both previous solutions, providing a safe, isolated environment with guaranteed performance. It has its own dedicated RAM (inaccessible to other VPSs present on the same "host"), a hard-disk with a real autonomous file-system, a virtual network card with one or more dedicated public IP addresses. The customer is therefore free to choose how to use their VPS, having full control with administrator access ("root" in Linux terminology).

KVM virtualization

KVM (for Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for Linux on x86 hardware containing virtualization extensions (Intel VT or AMD-V). Each virtual machine has private virtualized hardware: a network card, disk, graphics adapter, etc.

Hybrid NVMe / SATA III storage

All KVM hosts have local hybrid storage on SSD NVMe + SATA III enterprise class hard-disks.
Raid-1/10 redundancy layered on top of ZFS advanced file system, with data corruption protection, on-the-fly compression, snapshots & copy-on-write.

Anti-DDoS + Firewall

Network security is based on a 2 phase system.
The Anti-DDoS infrastructure is capable of mitigating 1+ Tbit/s attacks. Firewalls are configured for specific service and customer requirements.

Backup x 3

Everything is protected by our unique backup solution. Our internal backup system copies all data on 3 different European datacenters, garanting you to always be able to restore your data. Our default configuration provides you with daily backup and 90 days retention.
